The 3D Laser Scanning Microscope determines information of the surface by scanning it point by point with extremely high precision and depth of field. No pretreatment of the sample is necessary and the measurements are performed contactless. The combination of laser light and white light not only generates three-dimensional measurements with high-resolution, but it also enables to record the real color of the surface. Besides imaging, the specimen can be analyzed in terms of profile measurements, roughness analysis or thickness determination of transparent films.
